We are looking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to work as part of our friendly, dedicated and hardworking team in Key Stage One. Our school vision is for everyone within our school community to be the best they can be. You would be a crucial part of our drive to secure a high quality of education for every child at Richard Lee ensuring that all of our children are proud of themselves as individuals and proud of all that they achieve.
Our successful candidate will be a motivated professional who will work collaboratively within our staff team. You will be able to inspire and motivate our children and support them in making excellent progress in both their learning and with their personal development. They will also be working with and supporting our SEND and vulnerable pupils in small group interventions or on a one to one basis. This may include working with children with EHC plans. They will also have the ability to nurture strong and positive relationships with staff, children and families to raise aspiration and improve achievement for all.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience of working with children across the primary age range
• Has a desire to further develop their skills
• Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Can support senior leadership in providing high quality childcare and education
• Can take responsibility for a group of key children and take responsibility for observing, planning, tracking and evaluating their learning and development and setting individual targets
• Will work in respectful partnership with parents/carers when supporting children in their learning and development
• Has a sound knowledge of behaviour management and SEND
• Is approachable and resilient
